Eldridge named NCAC Sprint/Hurdle Athlete of the Meet
Jacob Eldridge, a 2009 LHS grad and Ohio Wesleyan University freshman, was recently named as the Sprint/Hurdle Athlete of the Meet for the North Coast Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships at Denison University. His efforts helped lead the Bishops to their third straight conference title. Jacob won the 55m dash in 6.57 seconds. He also was on the winning 4x200m Relay and the 4x400m Relay. and London High School are proud to celebrate National
Athletic Training Month during March. This year’s
theme is “Health Care for Life & Sport.”
The National Athletic
Trainers Association (NATA) represents professional
who specialize in the prevention, assessment, treatment
and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses. Certified
Athletic Trainers (ATC) are allied healthcare professionals
who hold at least a bachelors degree and are focused
on injury prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation
particularly in the orthopedic and musculoskeletal disciplines.
Athletic trainers provide value and financial return
on investment to secondary schools, occupational employers,
physicians, hospitals, and clinics. For more information
about the profession of athletic training please visit

Hospital Sports medicine is proud to be the provider
of athletic training services to London High School.

Forms Must Be Turned In To the Athletic Office...
Completed
forms must be turned in to the Athletic Office before
you can participate in any sport. You must also
go to the Athletic office and pick up the OHSAA Athletic
Eligibility Bulletin. You are required to read this
bulletin. This form does not need to be returned.
Your signatures on the Athletic Participation Form acknowledges
you read it.
OHSAA Pre Participation
Physical Exam Form...
A
doctor's physical examination is necessary to verify that
your athlete is physically able to participate in sports.
If you are aware of special medical concerns of your athlete,
we ask that you make the coach and athletic trainer aware
of the problem. This is very important for us in handling
treatment of an injury or medical problem. (two-sided

Regional Qualifiers: 4x800MR, Justin Hoosier (100m, 200m), Derek Davis (1600m), Kevin Swartz (1600m, 3200m), 4x400MR. Boys team garners runner-up team finish at Groveport District
Tournament by winning the two shortest and the two longest events -
junior Justin Hoosier captured first place finishes in the 100 and
200 meter dashes, while sophomore teammate Kevin Swartz picked up his
two titles in the 1600 and 3200 meter runs. Hoosier teamed with soph
Dylan Follrod, soph Matt Colvin, and junior Derek Davis to finish
third in the 4x400m relay to also qualify for the Lexington Regional.
Swartz replaced Hoosier on the 4x800m relay and helped that quartet

Sophomore Kayla Crager finished 6th in the DII 1600m run with a personal best of 5:13.02 earning her All-Ohio honors on her first trip to the "Big Show". Click here for complete State Tournament results at baumspage.com.

London 24th at 8 State Qualifier: Kayla Crager (1600m).
Sophomore Kayla Crager qualified to the State Meet in one event and barely missed in another. In the high jump, Crager placed 7th with a jump of 5'0". She barely missed at 5'1" which would have qualified her to State and kept her in the competition for the Regional title as well.
