2011 National Athletic Training Month
London High School and Nationwide Children's Sports Medicine celebrate National Athletic Training Month by recognizing our excellent Athletic Trainer Jessica Stanley. Athletic trainers are licensed health care providers with an expertise in the evaluation/treatment and rehabilitation of physical injuries. They also work hard to prevent injuries by making sure the environment is safe and the athlete’s body is prepared for the activity at hand. They serve our athletes on a daily basis.
Jessica recognizes that the theme of this year’s National Athletic Training Month is true. “Not All Athletes Wear Jerseys”, but she also recognizes that “Not All Athletes Are Adults.” That is why we have teamed up with Nationwide Children’s Sports Medicine to provide excellent Athletic Training coverage to our student athletes. To get your young athlete safely back into the game, recital, playground, or saddle – and keep them there – call Nationwide Children’s Sports Medicine at 614-355-6000 or visit them on the web at www.nationwidechildrens.org/sportsmedicine.

Completed
forms must be turned in to the Athletic Office before
you can participate in any sport. You must also
go to the Athletic office and pick up the OHSAA Athletic
Eligibility Bulletin. You are required to read this
bulletin. This form does not need to be returned.
Your signatures on the Athletic Participation Form acknowledges
you read it.
OHSAA Pre Participation
Physical Exam Form...
A
doctor's physical examination is necessary to verify that
your athlete is physically able to participate in sports.
If you are aware of special medical concerns of your athlete,
we ask that you make the coach and athletic trainer aware
of the problem. This is very important for us in handling
treatment of an injury or medical problem. (two-sided
